I love to paint. The Spring colors are so beautiful. I have studied with several painters. Anita Wolff being one of them. She is the one that inspired me. She made me so aware of colors My art is both realistic and impressionistic, depending on the subject.. I paint in oils and acrylics and I also use pastels. Animals are my passion to paint. My technique is simple, just try to capture the personality of the animal. With landscapes, color is a big factor. Keeping the color pure is what works best. I try to make my paintings pleasing to look at as well as interesting. Art is for everyone, and I enjoy doing it.
I have entered several art shows and have received several ribbons. I am in the El Dorado Hills Art Association Spring Art Tour. I am also in the Placerville Art Association Fall Art Tour. It is very rewarding for me when someone enjoys my work.
